Patriarche Meursault Narvaux, 2018, France
olden color with green reflections.
Its bouquet evokes ripe grapes. When young, it evokes toasted almond and hazelnut with floral notes (fern, lime blossom, verbena) and mineral (flint). Butter, honey, citrus fruits also appeal to the nose.
On the palate, we find a very nice balance between smoothness and freshness. Long, structured, rich and fat, we find notes of hazelnut and fruits like apricot.
Ideal with meats (veal, poultry) and noble fish. It goes very well with grilled shellfish and shell fish in sauce, such as lobster. Even blue cheeses and foiegras are adopted at first try.
