Primitivo's twin brother, this wine arrived in the first half of the nineteenth century on the east coast of the United States with the name of Zinfandel. It was transplant-ed in California in the second half of the same century where it is now considered a traditional wine. Today it is also present in Australia and South Africa. Masca del Tacco produces this "Zinfandel" from a careful selection of Primitivo grapes coming from the best breeding areas. It is a soft wine, characterized by an intense pleasure of the palate, freshness and flavor.
