Obtained from Montepulciano grapes and aged for 8 months in barriques. Intense ruby red colour, with good consistency. To the nose, notes of ripe cherry and sweet spices. Elegant and fruity in the mouth, complex and harmonious, with spicy notes of liquorice and tobacco and velvety tannins that long lasting.
With its particular qualities it offers a good accompaniment to pasta dishes with ragù meat sauce made with game and with meat dishes, especially game. Serve at 18 °C.
