Dog Point Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand
Fragrant, aromatic Pinot Noir with seductive floral, cherry and subtle spicy flavours. Delicately succulent wine that has clearly been made with a light touch but has impressive power and a lengthy finish.
This wine has the X-factor - every sip is even better than the last.

Dog Point is a joint venture between James Healy and Ivan Sutherland, respectively former winemaker and vineyard manager at Cloudy Bay, started in 2003. The wines come from selected parcels of old vines, and are made with a minimalist approach, including fermentation by natural yeasts. This Pinot Noir spends 18 months in a mixture of new and old French oak, for a classically elegant, sweet and savoury structure.
